Pierian Spring Academy of Arts & Sciences Career Readiness Program Online Prepares students for high-wage careers by preparing them to obtain industry-standard certifications as they learn.


Our program offers high school students sequenced learning tracks aligned to national and examination standards. These tracks put students on a path to obtain industry certifications, prepare them for employment, and identify the next steps in their career journey. Industry certifications help students prepare for careers in high-demand and high-wage occupations, such as IT, Healthcare and Business. With our Career Ready Program, we go beyond academics and support students in achieving nearly 100 industry-recognized certifications.

Competitive Robotics


The Lord of the Bricks is a community-based middle and high school FIRST Tech Challenge team located in Mechanicsville, VA.


Our team competes in the FIRST family of competitions. We are open to students in 6th through 12th grade.


Founded in 2011, we are the longest-running community-based team in the Richmond area. We are sponsored by Homeschool Resources Group, with a fully-equipped robotics lab in the HRG space. Our team welcomes everyone.


We are a neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ friendly team. It’s important for us to show that anyone can do this: you don’t have to be a straight-A student or need any experience. It’s all about figuring it out, learning, and having fun!
