Upper School

Upper school students can choose their own education plan towards graduation, and can sculpt their tuition accordingly. Students can experience an all-inclusive program for $9,000 annually, or choose an a’-la-cart path.

There are three tuition payment plans from which to choose: payment in full, payment in three installments, or monthly payments. Monthly payments incur a processing fee of two percent (2%).

Admission Process:

Admissions are made on a case-by-case basis.  We strive to service our families one-on-one.

Families are welcome to attend one of our scheduled semi-annual open houses. Families are also welcome to make an appointment for a private tour.

The first step is submitting the application and related forms and fees. In some cases, academic records and teacher recommendations are requested by our Admissions Office for students applying enrollment.  Every applicant who completes the process is considered for admissions by the Admissions Team. The applicant’s visit, parent interview, academic record, and teacher recommendations are considered in the decision to accept a student for admission. Upon acceptance, the parents must sign the contract and pay the tuition deposit. Pierian Spring Academy of Arts & Sciences has a rolling admission – when a space becomes available, an applicant in the waiting pool will be considered for that opening. Applicants are accepted throughout the school year. The Academy gives admissions preference to siblings of current and former Academy students.

The Academy is an independent private school which also serves homeschooling families. We are not affiliated with any particular church or denomination.  We focus on the mastery-level of learning, rather than relying solely on test scores and grade-level adherence.

The Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin, or any other protected class in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.
